Meet Sharon Margaret Perez
With 10 years of experience in working with children, I bring passion and expertise to early childhood education. I hold an AA in Child Development and a BA in Behavior Science, giving me the knowledge to create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
My dream is to open a preschool in my home one day, and I'm dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential through personalized attention and creative teaching methods.

What age groups do you teach?

How long are the classes?
Online classes are 30 minutes long, perfect for young attention spans. Music and movement classes at the park are 1 hour. Private sessions can be customized to your child's needs.
What technology do I need for online classes?
You'll need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone. I'll provide detailed setup instructions before your first class.
Do you provide materials for activities?
I'll send you a list of simple materials before each class (usually items you have at home like paper, crayons, etc.). For music classes, no materials are needed.
Can parents stay during online classes?
Parents are welcome to stay nearby, especially for younger children (ages 3-4). For older children, I encourage some independence while parents remain available if needed.
How do you track my child's progress?
I provide regular progress updates and can schedule parent conferences. I also offer suggestions for activities to reinforce learning at home.
What if my child is shy or has difficulty participating?
I specialize in working with children of all personalities. I use gentle encouragement and adapt my teaching style to help shy children feel comfortable and engaged.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes! I offer a 10% discount for siblings enrolled in regular classes. Contact me to discuss the best arrangement for multiple children in your family.
Where do music and movement classes take place?
Music and movement classes are held at local parks with safe, open spaces. I'll provide the specific location when you book, and we have backup indoor options for weather.
What is your teaching philosophy?

How far in advance should I book classes?
I recommend booking at least one week in advance to secure your preferred time slots. For popular times, booking 2-3 weeks ahead is ideal.

Yes! I offer a discounted trial class so you and your child can experience my teaching style. This helps ensure we're a good fit before committing to regular sessions.

Scheduling & Attendance
- Classes must be booked at least 24 hours in advance
- Regular students have priority for preferred time slots
- Please arrive 5 minutes early for online classes to test technology
- Consistent attendance helps build routine and progress
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- 24-hour notice required for cancellations to receive full credit
- Same-day cancellations will be charged unless due to illness
- Makeup classes available within 2 weeks of missed session
- Weather-related cancellations for park classes will be rescheduled
